omgosh no ... some things are just not worth the money. (I wouldn't want Matt to go anywhere for that long of a time while we have little kids ... he'd miss SO much ... let alone there.) I guess it just comes down to what your priorities are. (although I'm guessing he wasn't serious, right?)
so for two or three million, in cash, no taxes. NOPE!!! We have enough with Kim and Richard.
Love,
Aunty Penny
As a mom who's lived with out a husband for only 3 months, ummmmm no. money or not you'd also be worried about his safety.
I dont qualify but if they would let me sleep all night, I would go.
You were so not hasty!! That is one question you don't even have to think about. Good for you.
Leave it to my brother to cause trouble and scare his wife. We know that he wouldn't have gone anyway! But, I wonder what he would have done if you said yes?
Telling him your opinion was the right thing to do though.
Ben told me about these. There wasn't even a question-NO!!!!!!!!
Funny, but my opinion is so different.....seems like an opportunity to immerse in another culture and broaden horizons. Sounds like if he sent it to you that there was a part of him that was attracted to it and wanted to go. I love my family - love my kids, but I am still a person with wants and desires of my heart too...
Who just posted the comment above? Just curious :) Brian says it wasn't him, however it sounds like something he might say!
Um, let me think about his one - NOPE!

Hi Emily :) I, Lisa King, posted this comment - you know it totally sounds like me!! I dont have a google name or whatever - dont hate me, just see it all a little differently. Looks like you had a great time in NYC - love that place! Talk to you soon - Lisa
LISA! It totally sounds like you!! Wanna be traveler, like Brian! ;) And, yes he would love to go, but he would never abandon me for 2 years...we tried that once for 16 weeks, and we both hated that. He often brings up new places to move to, and the list is very long. However, with his current job, he travels so much already, it seems to be curbing his appetite. Good to hear from you! PS~ Anna still wants to move by you...she talks about it weekly! ;)
What do you guys decide to do?
Hi Em - 2 yrs is a long time - I thought you all would go :) It would be different also if your kids were grown and you and him could go. Things often look good on paper and in our daydreams, but rarely become that great in reality. I check on ya'll(if I had put that word in my comment, you might have known it was me!) all the time on your blog - I miss you!!!! Give my Anna Babe a kiss for me!!! She is TOTALLY coming to see me when she is old enough to fly on her own- I love her :)
I agree with you Emily, but you don't even want to know what Craig said!
